Accountant

📍 Location: Dubai, UAE💼 Department: Finance / Accounts📌 Position: Accountant/ Billing Assistant🏢 Employment Type: Full-timeWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant/ Billing Assistant to join our Finance team in Dubai.The ideal candidate will have experience in invoicing, supplier invoice processing, billing reconciliation and accounting systems. Experience in the aviation or fuel industry would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.Review fuel uplift tickets, quantities, selling prices and supporting documentation before invoicing.Process and record supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy of quantities, cost prices, taxes and applicable charges.Verify supplier invoices against fuel tickets and agreed pricing.Identify and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and suppliers.Prepare credit notes, debit notes and invoice adjustments when required.Maintain accurate billing and accounting records in the ERP system.Coordinate with Operations, Procurement and Finance to ensure smooth billing processes.Assist with account reconciliations, month-end closing and billing reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.Previous experience in billing, invoicing or accounting is preferred.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems, preferably Sage or Odoo.Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and coordination skills.Experience in aviation, fuel supply or fuel trading is an advantage.#Hiring #BillingAssistant #DubaiJobs #FinanceJobs #AccountingJobs #Invoicing #AviationIndustry #UAEJobs
