🚨 DCC is Hiring: Accountant (Contracting Industry | 3+ Years Experience)DCC is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Team. We are seeking a highly organized and analytical professional with a strong background in contracting/construction accounting and a proven ability to manage project finances, cost control, and financial reporting.The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a contracting or construction company and possess a solid understanding of project-based accounting and construction financial processes.🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Monitor project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Track project revenues, costs, and profitability in accordance with contract progress
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost analysis for construction projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documentation🔹 Requirements✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field✔ Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a contracting or construction company (Mandatory)✔ Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and cost control✔ Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar accounting software✔ Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles✔ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis✔ Good understanding of construction contracts, BOQs, project billing, and subcontractor accounting✔ Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills🔹 Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with VAT, tax compliance, and statutory reporting within the construction industry
• Familiarity with project budgeting and cash flow management
