The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and cash flow monitoring. The Accountant will support tax and regulatory compliance, prepare reports for management, and coordinate with external auditors when required. The role also includes reviewing financial data for accuracy, identifying variances, and recommending improvements to financial processes.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger maintenance and preparation of balance sheets and income statements.Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support planning and decision-making.Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.Candidates should possess skills in the use of accounting software and spreadsheets, with proficiency in tools such as Excel and common ERP or accounting platforms.Candidates should possess skills in compliance and audit support, including familiarity with UAE financial regulations and documentation practices.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial information.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in corporate or consulting environments in the UAE is beneficial.
