Our Cape Town office is looking for SAICA Trainee Accountants who want to qualify as Chartered Accountants (SA).About the roleAs a trainee accountant you will work on audit, financial reporting and tax assignments for our clients, while developing the competencies required by the SAICA training programme.Key responsibilities- Comply with SAICA's training regulations, including the duties of trainee accountants- Deliver accurate, high-quality work that meets the firm's quality standards- Develop the SAICA training programme competencies and keep the related documentation up to date- Manage the audit process from start to finish, including client site visits, document review and client communication- Prepare annual financial statements in line with regulatory requirements- Calculate taxes for clients- Verify client information and claims- Assist with other related tasks as requiredRequirements- A SAICA-accredited degree (only candidates with an accredited degree will be considered)- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their CTA and/or ITC- South African citizenship- Living in Cape Town, or willing to relocate- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Reliable, trustworthy and presentableHow to applySend your CV to caryl.wachi@krestonsa.com.Closing date: 30 October 2026
