We're growing, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who takes pride in accurate, timely financial work and wants to build a career with a company that values community, accountability, and professionalism in our corporate office.The Accountant is responsible for recording timely and accurate financial transactions for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Account Reconciliations, and Financial Statements. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys precise, methodical work within established systems and procedures, and who takes satisfaction in getting the details right every time.RequirementsWhat You'll DoRecord, review, and maintain accurate general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP and company policiesPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactionsPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling itemsSupport the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring adherence to close timelinesAssist in preparation of internal financial reporting packagesMaintain and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial dataSupport audit requests and provide documentation for external auditors and tax advisorsManage fixed assets and other corporate accounting schedules as applicableAssist with system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalabilityWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or actively working toward a CPA is a plusMinimum of 2-5 years of progressive accounting experienceService-oriented — takes care of internal customers' needs while following company proceduresDetail-oriented — pays close attention to the minute details of a project or taskAccurate — performs work accurately and thoroughlyA proactive problem solver who addresses work-related issues before they escalateProficiency in Outlook and Excel, plus experience with automated accounting software; Business Central experience is a plusBenefitsCity Wide provides competitive compensation with bonus potential - This position offers On-Target Earnings of $65,000-$75,000 (base), plus a 3% annual bonus. This is a full-time, on-site role, providing a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, PTO (3 weeks the first year), and a 401k plan.
