Accountant

Job DescriptionBin Malik Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the UAE construction industry. The candidate should be familiar with construction accounting, project costing, UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax, and day-to-day financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting activities, including invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.Handle UAE Corporate Tax calculations, reporting, and filing requirements.Monitor project expenses, budgets, and profitability.Maintain project-wise cost tracking and financial records.Manage subcontractor payments, supplier accounts, and payment certificates.Handle retention amounts, advance payments, and project-related financial transactions.Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment follow-ups.RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably with a construction or contracting company.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and FTA filing procedures.Practical experience in construction accounting, project costing, subcontractor payments, and retention accounting.Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar.Good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities with minimal supervision.Candidates with previous UAE construction or contracting company experience will be given preference.Interested candidates send your application to habeeb@binmalek.com
