Accountant cum Cashier

Barq Vogue is a new luxury fashion house in Dubai — curated collections, considered service, and a client experience built around intention rather than volume. We are hiring our founding boutique team, and this is the senior role.About the roleYou own the till and the numbers — and you're on the boutique floor, not behind a desk. You will run our point of sale, keep the day's cash and accounts clean, and step into sales and client service alongside the team. Our entire business runs on Odoo (POS, invoicing, inventory, accounting), so you will live in one system.ResponsibilitiesOperate the Odoo POS: cash, card and digital payments; invoices, returns, exchanges, gift cards and store creditReconcile the till daily; prepare cash and sales reportsMaintain accounting entries in Odoo; support VAT filing, supplier invoices and expense recordsServe clients on the floor: welcome, advise, style and close salesAssist with inventory counts and receiving stockRequirements2–4 years as a cashier, accounts assistant or retail accountant (fashion or retail preferred)Degree or diploma in accounting or commerce preferredOdoo experience is a strong plus; any modern ERP or POS also works — full Odoo training providedAccurate and trustworthy with cash; confident with clientsGood English & Arabic,Available for retail hours including evenings and weekendsCurrently based in the UAEWhat we offerCompetitive salaryEmployment visa, medical insurance and benefits as per UAE labour lawSenior founding-team role with room to grow into a full finance position
