Belena Maldives offers an environment where team members can contribute to an extraordinary, guest-centered experience.Role Description The Accountant Cum Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Malé, Maldives, responsible for overseeing both financial operations and general management activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements and reports, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. The role also involves budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions, as well as supervising administrative processes related to the retreat’s operations. In addition, the Accountant Cum Manager coordinates with internal teams and external partners, supports procurement and vendor management, and contributes to process improvements that enhance efficiency and guest service quality.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong accounting and finance skills, including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow management.Candidates should possess management and organizational skills, such as team coordination, operational oversight, scheduling, and process optimization.Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, manage costs, and propose data-driven improvements.Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, guests, vendors, and regulatory bodies.Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and common office applications, with attention to detail and accuracy.Relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field, along with prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented environments, is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Malé, Maldives, maintain professional integrity, and adapt to a boutique hospitality setting focused on personalized guest experiences.
