Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IFRS, and supporting business operations through timely financial analysis and reporting.We are seeking a highly competent, analytical, and detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.UAE accounting experience is preferred.Strong hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle.Thorough knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Microsoft Business Central, or similar platforms.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingManage the complete accounting cycle, including:General ledger maintenanceBank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliationsFixed asset accountingAccruals and prepaymentsJournal entries and accounting adjustmentsMonth-end and year-end closing activitiesAudit coordination and statutory reporting supportEnsure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.Maintain accounting records in compliance with IFRS and company policies.Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper supporting documentation.Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Assist with external and internal audits by providing required schedules and documentation.Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
