We’re looking for an experienced Accountant – General Ledger to join our ever-evolving Finance Team and help shape the future of global commerce.In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. You’ll manage core General Ledger activities, support month-end close, perform detailed reconciliations and financial analysis, and work closely with stakeholders across the organization.If you're an accounting professional who enjoys investigating complex transactions, solving discrepancies, and improving financial processes, this could be your next opportunity.What You’ll OwnGeneral Ledger & Month-End CloseManage and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in line with established reporting timelines.Prepare, review, and post journal entries, ensuring transactions are properly supported, accurate, and compliant with accounting policies.Maintain the accuracy and integrity of General Ledger accounts and financial records.Understand transaction flows and their impact on the General Ledger and financial reporting.Reconciliations & Financial AnalysisPerform complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account discrepancies, aged balances, and unusual transactions.Analyze account movements and financial variances to identify root causes and drive timely resolution.Prepare supporting schedules, account analyses, and reports required for financial reporting and management review.Proactively identify potential accounting risks and escalate complex issues when appropriate.Financial Controls & ComplianceEnsure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.Maintain accurate and complete accounting documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory requirements.Assist with internal and external audit activities, including the preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Support a strong financial control environment by identifying gaps and contributing to improvements in accounting processes.Stakeholder Collaboration & Process ImprovementPartner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to validate transactions, resolve accounting issues, and improve the quality of financial information.Communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders to obtain required information and resolve outstanding items.Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve workflows, and enhance reporting efficiency.Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives within the Finance function.What You’ll BringBachelor of Science in Accountancy.Minimum 5 years of combined experience in General Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and/or Audit.Demonstrated experience supporting month-end close, preparing and posting journal entries, and performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive effective resolutions.Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms, with a solid understanding of transaction flows into the General Ledger.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment..It’s a Bonus If You HaveCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.Experience supporting a multinational, global, or shared services environment.Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, or SOX requirements.Experience in process improvement, workflow documentation, automation, or finance transformation initiatives.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large volumes of financial data.About the TeamOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
