On behalf of our client, a growing international holding group with interests in financial services, technology, marketing, and other regulated businesses, we are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their newly established Dubai office.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing finance team, supporting multiple entities across the Group while ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial management. You will work closely with senior management and play a key role in supporting the Group's continued expansion across multiple jurisdictions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities across the Group. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Prepare consolidated financial statements and perform inter-company reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax returns through the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, regulators, and other professional advisers. Assist in strengthening accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. Support senior management by providing financial analysis and commercial insights to facilitate strategic decision-making. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, preferably within a holding company, multi-entity group, financial services, or other regulated business environment. Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and performing inter-company reconciliations. Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or CMA will be considered a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, and UAE VAT legislation. Experience preparing and submitting VAT and Corporate Tax returns. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar, together with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Previous experience within financial services, investment firms, brokerage, fintech, banking, payments, asset management, insurance, or other regulated financial institutions will be considered a strong advantage. Familiarity with the regulatory framework of the UAE Capital Markets Authority (CMA, formerly SCA) or other recognized financial regulators, including DFSA, FSRA, CBUAE, VARA, or equivalent international regulatory authorities such as CySEC (Cyprus), FCA (United Kingdom), ASIC (Australia), MAS (Singapore), Seychelles FSA, Mauritius FSC, or similar, will be considered a strong advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and spoken English.
