Team members work in a dynamic environment at the intersection of finance, data, and thought leadership, supporting clients in making informed, forward-looking decisions.Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate general ledger entries, preparing journals, and reconciling accounts. This full-time on-site role, based in UAE will handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, and timely payment processing. The role involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting internal and external audits. The Accountant will monitor financial performance, ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide clear financial reporting to management.QualificationsStrong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly/annual statements and support for budgeting and forecasting.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to corporate finance.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.Prior experience in corporate or professional services environments; familiarity with the financial services sector is beneficial.
