Accountant (Jewellery/Retail)

Key Responsibilities

Handle full-cycle accounting including journals, ledgers, reconciliations, and trial balance.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).Ensure accuracy and timely recording of all financial transactions.Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.Support budgeting and performance analysis.Manage inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and cost tracking.Prepare and file UAE VAT returns on time.Support Corporate Tax compliance and reporting.Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and internal controls.Support internal and external audits with required schedules.Work on ERP systems (Wingold Next / D365 / Tally) and support process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Advanced degree/MBA preferred).Industry experience: At least 3 years in accounting roles within the jewellery or retailFluency in English is mandatoryMust be available in UAE
