Accountant - KSA Experience / Available Immediately

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai, requiring recent and relevant KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) experience and availability to join immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily transactions in the accounting system (journal entries, accruals, prepayments)Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliationsPerform bank, cash, and intercompany reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end closingPrepare financial statements in line with IFRS as endorsed by SOCPAMaintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedulesTax & Zakat Compliance (ZATCA)Prepare and file VAT returns on time and maintain supporting recordsEnsure invoices meet ZATCA e-invoicing (FATOORA) requirementsCalculate and file withholding tax on payments to non-resident partiesSupport annual Zakat and/or Corporate Income Tax declarationsAssist with ZATCA reviews, queries, and auditsPayroll & Labor ComplianceSupport monthly payroll processing in line with Saudi Labor LawReconcile GOSI contributions and ensure accurate registrationsCoordinate salary payments through the Wage Protection System (Mudad)Calculate end-of-service benefit and leave provisionsAudit, Controls & BudgetingPrepare schedules and documentation for external auditorsMaintain internal controls and documented accounting proceduresSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure records are kept in line with Saudi bookkeeping and record-retention requirementsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance[2–5] years of accounting experience, preferably in Saudi ArabiaHands-on knowledge of ZATCA regulations (VAT, Zakat, WHT, e-invoicing)Solid understanding of IFRS and Saudi Labor Law / GOSIExperience with [SAP / Oracle / Odoo / Zoho / QuickBooks] or similar ERPAdvanced Excel skillsFluent English; Arabic is a strong advantageSOCPA membership, or CMA / CPA / ACCA, is a plus
