Accountant (MNC)

We are seeking an Accountant to join a fast-paced commodities trading environment, supporting financial reporting, month-end closing, accounting operations and process improvements. This role offers exposure to both Finance and commercial business stakeholders.Responsibilities:Manage month-end closing, reconciliations and consolidation activities.Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.Reconcile accounting records with trading and source systems.Prepare accounting schedules and perform financial analysis.Support monthly/quarterly reporting, annual financial statements and audit requirements.Assess accounting treatments for business activities and support accounting standard changes.Drive improvements in finance processes, controls, automation and reporting.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related matters.Requirements:Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.2–5 years of experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting.Strong understanding of month-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.Proficient in Excel and familiar with finance/accounting systems.Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in commodities, trading, mark-to-market accounting or audit of trading businesses is advantageous.How to Apply:Submit your application by emailing a detailed copy of your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Teoh Yee Ling (EA Personnel Reg.
