Customer success is central to RadiantBiz’s approach, with a commitment to treating each client’s business as a long-term partnership.Role Description The Accountant (New Delhi) is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support statutory and internal audits, and assist with tax calculations and compliance in coordination with the finance and advisory teams. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, handling invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support management decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and contributing to process improvements in accounting and reporting.Qualifications Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management, with experience in accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.Understanding of taxation, VAT/GST, and regulatory compliance relevant to Indian accounting standards; experience supporting audits is an advantage.High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry and documentation, and strong organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with finance, consulting, and banking teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are preferred.Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, ideally within consulting, professional services, or financial/banking environments.Integrity, confidentiality in handling financial information, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
