Accountant - Oil & Gas Trading-Treasury & Shipping Operations

As we continue to expand our trading and shipping activities, we are looking for an experienced professional to strengthen our Finance, Treasury & Shipping Operations team in Dubai.Why MH GROUP?Dynamic Business Environment: Work across accounting, treasury, international banking, shipping, and commercial operations.International Exposure: Coordinate with banks, vessel owners, charterers, suppliers, customers, insurers, auditors, and international business partners.Commercial Responsibility: Be involved in high-value trading, shipping, banking, contracts, and vessel-related transactions.Career Growth: Take ownership of diverse financial and shipping operations while working closely with senior management.Cross-Functional Experience: Build expertise across accounting, treasury, maritime operations, vessel transactions, compliance, and commercial administration.What You’ll DoManage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for trading and shipping activities.Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.Manage LCs, BGs, TTs, international banking transactions, and multi-currency payments.Coordinate with banks and relationship managers for corporate banking requirements.Manage KYC, AML, banking compliance, and financial documentation.Coordinate day-to-day ship management and vessel operations.Handle voyage planning, bunker arrangements, cargo operations, vessel documentation, laytime, and demurrage-related activities.Coordinate with vessel owners, charterers, agents, insurers, and other maritime stakeholders.Manage and coordinate Vessel Sales & Purchase (S&P) transactions, including inspections, documentation, negotiations, MOA, closing, and delivery.Draft, review, and manage contracts related to trading, shipping, charter parties, and vessel S&P.Support commercial negotiations, claims, disputes, and risk management.Coordinate with auditors, insurers, banks, suppliers, customers, and government authorities.Support corporate administration, regulatory approvals, ERP implementation, and financial reporting.Who We’re Looking ForOil & Gas Trading Experience: Practical experience in accounting or finance within Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Petrochemical or Commodity Trading is highly preferred.Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting, treasury, banking, cash flow, AR/AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Shipping Knowledge: Practical understanding of vessel operations, charter parties, laytime, cargo claims, demurrage, and maritime operations.Commercial Mindset: Ability to understand and manage trading, shipping, contracts, and commercial transactions.Banking & Compliance: Hands-on experience with LCs, BGs, TTs, international banking, KYC, AML, and corporate bank accounts.Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to coordinate and negotiate with banks, customers, suppliers, vessel owners, charterers, insurers, and other stakeholders.Organized & Reliable: Able to manage multiple priorities, confidential financial information, deadlines, and complex transactions independently.Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field. (CA,ACCA,CMA qualification is highly preferred)3+ years of relevant professional experience.
