Accountant (Saudi National)

JOB PURPOSE: The Accountant at Alyasra Foods will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations related to the distribution of food categories including Protein, Dairy, Condiments, Bakery, and Beverages to the food service sector across all KSA. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.Principal Accountabilities:Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable:Record customer receipts and accurately allocate payments against outstanding invoices and customer accounts. Reconcile customer account statements and investigate any discrepancies or outstanding issues. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputed invoices and customer payment concerns. Prepare and issue periodic customer statements of account. Prepare and issue customer balance confirmation letters.Collect cash from salesmen and ensure timely recording and deposit of collections. Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and support documentation. Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting related to accounts receivable. Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls related to receivables and cash handlingAccounts Payable (AP)Verify, record, and process supplier invoices. Process employee expense claims and reimbursements. EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting or a related field.Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in finance and accounting. Advanced Excel skills.Familiarity with financial reporting software e.g Dynamics
