This is a full-time position based in the Central Region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations through accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting. You will be responsible for managing key accounting functions that directly support the strategic financial objectives of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing management with reliable financial information to drive business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records, including ledgers, balance sheets, and profit and loss statementsManage the month-end and year-end closing processesMonthly report in Veolia Group consolidation systemReview accounts payables and payment instructionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsPrepare/ Review monthly schedules and management closing checklists, including:Bank reconciliationsBalance sheet review, reconciliations and resolve any discrepanciesPrepare weekly cashflow forecast and projections and ensure tight control of cash management including DSOs & DPOsPrepare and manage inter-co charges and billingEnsure compliance with IFRS accounting principles and relevant regulationsParticipate in internal and external auditsCoordinate and liaise with internal and external parties in relation to workAnalyze financial data and maintain accounts accuracy Manage tax filings, annual XBRL filing and other local filing when requiredManage statutory records and liaise with the company secretaryImplement and maintain internal financial controlsAssist in new processes and system implementation when requiredPerform other ad hoc tasks as requiredSafety is a core value at Veolia, and a precondition for employment.
