Join us in driving the future of sustainable mobility.The AR Accountant will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and local statutory requirements for Green SM’s operations in the US market. This role is suitable for a hands-on accounting professional with solid technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. The position will work closely with local management, HQ finance team, external auditors, tax advisors, and service providersKey ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial ReportingHandle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger entriesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesPrepare accounting records and supporting documents in accordance with IFRS and local accounting requirementsAssist in preparing financial reports, management reports, and statutory reportsEnsure accounting data is accurate, complete, and properly maintainedTax & ComplianceSupport the preparation and submission of VAT, corporate tax, and other local tax filingsEnsure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirementsCoordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and local authorities when requiredMaintain proper documentation for audit, tax, and compliance purposesFinancial Controls & ProcessesFollow and help improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsReview financial transactions to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport internal control activities and risk management processesIdentify process gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracySystem & Process SupportSupport the implementation and improvement of accounting systems, reporting tools, and digital finance workflowsMaintain accurate accounting data in financial systemsAssist with ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks as requiredRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial reportingExperience in SME, startup, manufacturing, FMCG, energy, mobility, or similar industries is preferredGood knowledge of IFRS and local accounting/tax regulationsExperience with VAT, statutory reporting, and audit supportProficient in Excel and accounting systemsDetail-oriented, careful, and well-organizedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHands-on, proactive, and adaptable mindsetAble to work independently and coordinate with local and international teams
