Accounting & Finance Associate | Alternative Asset ManagementNew York, NY | Hybrid (4 days in office)A leading alternative asset management platform is seeking an Accounting & Finance Associate to join its corporate finance team in NYC. This role offers a unique blend of management reporting, financial analysis, and corporate accounting, providing exposure to both the analytical and operational sides of finance within a global investment firm.This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming out of financial services accounting or Big 4 who wants to expand into finance, reporting, and data-driven analysis while maintaining a strong foundation in accounting.Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze internal management reporting, including revenue, expense, and AUM analyticsSupport monthly and quarterly close processes alongside the corporate accounting teamPerform financial analysis on large data sets to support senior management reportingAssist with financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and expense accrualsDevelop and enhance automated reporting and data processesPartner with accounting, finance, and operations teams to deliver ad hoc analysis and reportingContribute to special projects, forecasting exercises, and regulatory reportingQualifications:2–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reportingBig 4 public accounting experience preferredCPA strongly preferredFinancial services or asset management experience is a plusAdvanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilitiesStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyCompensation: 120-140k base / 170-190k all in; based on experience
