This role supports daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounting Assistant will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconcile bank and credit card statements, and support the preparation of financial reports. The role includes entering data into accounting software, organizing documentation for audits, and coordinating with project managers and vendors to resolve billing or payment questions. The Accounting Assistant will also help with month-end closing activities and provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.QualificationsSolid knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping principles to support daily financial operations.Ability to work with Financial Statements and assist in preparing and reviewing reports.Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software and basic Finance concepts to manage transactions and reconciliations.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office productivity tools.Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience in construction or project-based accounting is beneficial but not required.Spanish Bilingual is a plus
