This role offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with teams across the business to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal coordination.ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing vendor invoices, preparing payment runs, issuing customer invoices, and tracking accounts receivable balancesTransaction Recording & Reconciliations: Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform routine bank, credit card, and vendor account reconciliationsCross-Team & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with finance leadership, procurement, operations, and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries in a timely mannerFinancial Reporting Support: Help prepare month-end close documentation, schedules, and preliminary balance sheet or expense analysisCompliance & Audit Assistance: Support the collection and organization of financial records, receipts, and tax documentation (e.g., VAT filings and annual audit requests)Process Improvement: Participate in optimizing internal finance workflows and adopting digital tools to enhance speed and accuracyRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field0-1 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in ExcelExperience working with finance leadership, procurement, operations, employees, and vendors on invoice and payment mattersFluency in both English and ArabicExperience with general ledger accounting is a plus
