THE OPPORTUNITYODDITY is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our New York based team. You will assume complete ownership of all financial accounting and recordkeeping procedures for designated business units. While you will provide ongoing support across all aspects of financial planning and reporting, you will also have cross-functional exposure to each department and brand at ODDITY. This is a high-visibility role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.WHAT YOU'LL DOOversee entry of financial records into ERP system and other internal databases with a high degree of organization and timelinessMaintain accurate and detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and prepare general ledger entriesManage all accounts payable activity, including new vendor onboarding and invoice approval processesMonitor cash flows and perform daily bank reconciliationsSupport all monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing procedures, including global inventory reconciliation, intercompany account reconciliations, analysis of aged open balances and other related workstreamsAnalyze business performance across product categories, funnels and geographiesBuild monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with US GAAPSupport quarterly and year-end audits, including preparation of audit working papersPrepare monthly reports for leadership teams - highlighting KPIs, trends and insightsImplement processes to enhance reporting efficiency, including automation and implementation of new toolsAssist with budgeting, reforecasting and variance analysis across departmentsStrengthen internal controls framework and processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) ComplianceWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRecent graduate with relevant coursework or 1 - 3 years of experience in FP&A, public accounting or corporate finance, investment banking, preferably in a high-growth environmentBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field of study with a record of high academic achievement at a top universityHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling and accounting practicesExperience with tools like Looker, Claude, ERP systems or Alteryx is a plusExcellent attention to detail, plus the ability to see the bigger strategic pictureProactive, collaborative mindset - someone who asks "What's next?" instead of waiting for directionEager to learn and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCPA – a great advantage but not requiredWHAT YOU'LL GETSalary range: $67k - 80k commensurate with experienceCompetitive benefits: Unlimited PTO, 401(k) match, employer-sponsored healthcare, paid disability leave, and commuter benefitsHybrid work environment: in-office four days per weekVibrant office in Soho neighborhood offering weekly family-style lunch and frequent team building eventsWhile the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, ODDITY reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range
