Accounting Associate

Fincure is a Dubai-based financial services company supporting SMEs through structured financing, accounting and outsourced CFO services. We help business owners strengthen their financial reporting, cash-flow visibility, internal controls and decision-making.We are looking for a disciplined and client-focused Accounting Associate to manage day-to-day accounting and reporting requirements for multiple SME clients while supporting Fincure’s CFO advisory team.Role Profile: We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our outsourced accounting team. This role manages the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of client accounts - from bookkeeping and reconciliations through to financial statement preparation and tax compliance - while working directly with clients as their outsourced finance function. The role suits someone who is comfortable managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, meeting recurring deadlines, and communicating financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: ●     Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and general ledger accounting for a portfolio of client accounts.●     Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payment cycles.●     Perform monthly bank, GL, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple client entities.●     Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.●     Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and support UAE Corporate Tax compliance and registration for client entities.●     Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions.●     Liaise directly with clients to gather financial data, resolve queries, and provide regular reporting updates.●     Prepare audit-ready documentation and support external auditors during client statutory audits.●     Maintain accurate, organized financial records and working papers for each client engagement.●     Identify process improvements and flag compliance risks across assigned client portfolios.●     Collaborate with the wider consulting team on client engagements, including financial statement preparation mandates.Requirements:●     Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter / ACCA (part-qualified or qualified) preferred.●     3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally including exposure to multiple clients or entities (outsourced accounting, audit firm, or shared services background is a strong plus).●     Working knowledge of UAE VAT compliance; familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax is preferred.●     Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) and strong Excel skills.●     Strong understanding of IFRS and standard bookkeeping/reconciliation practices.●     Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable liaising directly with clients.●     Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple client accounts concurrently.●     UAE experience preferred; candidates must be eligible to work in the UAE
