This role is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks experience, solid accounting fundamentals, and a willingness to take ownership of their work.You will be part of a fast growing organization where processes and systems continue to evolve. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes initiative, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and energetic team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform day to day accounting activities using QuickBooksRecord and maintain accurate accounting transactionsPrepare bank and account reconciliationsAssist with month end and year end accounting activitiesWork with various departments to resolve accounting related questions and issuesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systemsTake on additional responsibilities as the organization growsQualifications and SkillsHands on experience with QuickBooks, particularly Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableStrong understanding of basic accounting principles, debits, credits, and journal entriesGeneral understanding of financial statementsAccounting diploma, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimal direction and follow upThe Person We Are Looking ForA self starter who takes ownership and follows throughPositive, energetic, friendly, and easy to work withComfortable building relationships and working with people across different departmentsFlexible and adaptable as responsibilities and processes evolveComfortable working in a fast growing environment where not everything is fully definedSomeone who looks for solutions and gets things done rather than waiting for instructionsThis is a role for someone who wants to grow with the company, not someone looking for a rigid job description.
