Accounting Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and must have completed ICAN and/or ACCA certification.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports including general ledger, accounts payable,accounts receivable, and payroll.Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and audit schedulesSupport tax computations and compliance processesPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesUtilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modelingCollaborate with team members to support client engagementsEnsure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standardsManage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) and/or ACCA (Association of CharteredCertified Accountants) certifications are mandatory.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.BENEFITS:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Positive and collaborative work environment.How to Apply: Interested candidates should ENSURE to submit their resume to careers@alp.company with the subject: “Accounting Associate”
