EST)Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Wednesday & Thursday in-office)About Our Client Our Client provides environmentally sustainable services to commercial kitchens through a nationwide franchise network. They support national account partners and franchisees with financial, operational, and customer service excellence.They are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and strong customer-service mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice & Bill Processing: Accurately enter and process customer invoices and vendor bills in a timely manner.Payments & Accounts: Post and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts and invoices.Purchase Orders: Create, review, and maintain purchase orders (POs), matching bills to POs and supporting documentation.Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve bill payment, pricing, quantity, and PO discrepancies.Reconciliations: Assist with customer and vendor account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and month-end close support.Communication: Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, franchisees, vendors, and internal teams.Compliance & Support: Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls, supporting the Finance & Accounting team with special projects as needed.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role.Accounting Skills: Hands-on experience with customer invoice entry, vendor bill processing, payment posting, and purchase orders.Software Proficiency: Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks Online (QBO).Excel Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, including PivotTables and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).Attributes: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and exceptional organization.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.Bonus: Franchise or multi-unit business experience is a strong plus!Benefits & PerksPaid Time Off: Two weeks vacation + 5 sick days + 9 paid company holidays.Comprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life insuranceRetirement Planning: 401(k) plan with Traditional & Roth options.Professional Growth: Opportunities for local conference travel with full expense reimbursement.
