Accounting Consultant - Chinese Speaking

Backed by a team of professionals, we deliver practical, compliant, and client-focused solutions to help businesses thrive in a dynamic regulatory environment.Job Overview:The Accounting Consultant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting. This position should ossess a strong technical accounting background, experience in international or large-scale organizations, and bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, cross-border business setting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Perform general ledger reconciliation, accruals, and journal entries.Review and sign-off on complex advisory reports, tax assessments, entity structuring, and due diligence reports.Business Development & Market ExpansionHandle invoices, payments, and receipts; ensure proper documentation and authorization.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on outstanding payments.Support treasury functions and cash flow forecasting.Tax & Compliance Support corporate tax, VAT filings, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant government authorities as required.Internal Controls & Financial AnalysisImplement and maintain internal accounting controls and financial procedures.Conduct variance analysis, expense tracking, and provide insights to management for decision-making.Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.Cross-Functional & Multilingual CommunicationCollaborate with Chinese-speaking management, clients, and partners to ensure smooth financial coordination.Translate or interpret financial documents and communication as needed (Chinese–English).Required Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,or related field.Professional Certifications: Mandatory – CA / CPA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent.Experience:Minimum 1 years of professional accounting experience (can be both internship or full-time, UAE experience preferred).Prior experience in Big Four firms or large multinational corporations is highly desirable.Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax.Skills & Attributes:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle).Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.Language:Fluency in English and working proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) are mandatory.
