The intern will assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements, recording journal entries, and helping maintain accurate accounting records. Day-to-day tasks include supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciling accounts, and updating data in accounting software under the guidance of senior team members. The intern will also help with basic financial analysis, documentation, and administrative tasks related to finance and accounting operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment and exposure to technology-driven business processes.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and support all phases of the expense financial planning processAnalyze expenses data and reconcile monthly expenses reportUnderstand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information.Increases productivity by developing automated reportingPrepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requestedInvestigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties.Perform ad-hoc requestAssist with Payroll ReconciliationAssist with year-end auditRequirementsFinance, Economics, Accountant or related majorStrong English verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated with a desire to learnBenefitsShadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with our experienced team of finance professionalsHands-on application of finance principles in a fast-paced work environment
