The intern will support the finance and accounting team with day-to-day activities such as preparing and recording journal entries, assisting in the compilation and review of financial statements, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Responsibilities include working with accounting software to enter and reconcile data, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and helping with basic financial analyses and reports. The intern will collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal controls, respond to documentation requests, and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and support all phases of the expense financial planning processAnalyze expense data and reconcile monthly expense reportsUnderstand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology to identify, configure, and communicate useful information.Increases productivity by developing automated reportingPrepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requestedInvestigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties.Perform ad-hoc requestAssist with Payroll ReconciliationAssist with year-end auditRequirementsAccounting, Economics, or related majorStrong English verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated with a desire to learnBenefitsShadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with our experienced team of finance professionalsHands-on application of finance principles in a fast-paced work environment
