Accounting Intern

THE ROLEAt Craft My Plate, we’re strengthening our finance function as we scale, and this 3‑6 months internship is about building that foundation from the ground up. Our books have so far been maintained on Google Sheets and operational systems – you’ll help set up proper books of accounts, migrate two years of historical data into Tally or Zoho Books, and build a clean, reconciled accounting database. WHAT YOU'LL DOHelp set up books of accounts in Tally Prime or Zoho Books – chart of accounts, ledgers, vendors and customersReview financial data from Google Sheets and migrate it in, passing accounting entries for historical transactionsRun bank, vendor and customer reconciliations, and track down discrepancies in past recordsSupport ledger scrutiny, documentation and MIS/financial reporting as the books get cleaned upYOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOUAre CA Inter/IPCC (or a dropout), or a B.Com/M.Com graduate with strong accounting fundamentals – freshers with excellent accounting knowledge welcome tooUnderstand journal entries, ledgers, trial balances and financial statements, and are comfortable with bank and account reconciliationsAre proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with Tally Prime or Zoho Books is a plusBring strong analytical, problem-solving skills and are excited to build something from the ground upWHAT YOU'LL GAINHands-on experience building an accounting system from scratch, with direct mentorship from the Finance & Accounts LeadReal exposure to startup finance, compliance and reporting – with genuine ownership, not just data entryStrong performers may be offered a full-time Accounts Associate role at the end of the internshipROLE DETAILSLocation - Prashant Hills, Raidurg, HyderabadWork mode - OnsiteWorking days - 6 days/weekTimings - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
