The company also maintains a representation office in Istanbul, Turkey, and strong relationships with reputable financial institutions worldwide.Role Description The Accounting Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Amsterdam. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, updating ledgers, and supporting the preparation and review of financial statements. Responsibilities include working with accounting software to process transactions, reconcile accounts, and help maintain accurate financial records for client projects. The intern will collaborate with finance and advisory teams to gather data, perform basic financial analysis, and support reporting for corporate finance engagements. Additional tasks may include assisting with documentation for audits, organizing supporting materials for credit cases, and contributing to process improvements within the accounting function.Qualifications Ability to work with financial statements and understand basic finance concepts.Proficiency with accounting software and comfort with digital tools and spreadsheets.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing financial data.Knowledge of journal entries and core accounting principles.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.Ability to work on-site in Amsterdam, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a professional environment.Interest in corporate finance, international markets, and working with cross-border clients.
