Accounting Manager

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The role is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing reliable financial information to support business decisions.Key responsibilities include overseeing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting support, and cash flow monitoring. The Accounting Manager will review financial transactions, analyze accounting records, resolve discrepancies, coordinate with auditors and internal departments, and ensure accounting procedures are consistently followed.The role also involves improving accounting processes, monitoring financial controls, supporting tax and regulatory compliance, preparing management reports, and identifying opportunities to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Strong leadership, analytical ability, numerical accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail are essential.QualificationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Ability to manage month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.Strong understanding of reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow, financial analysis, and internal controls.Ability to review transactions, investigate discrepancies, and implement effective corrective actions.Good knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, financial policies, and compliance procedures.Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to supervise and coordinate accounting activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with management, auditors, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.Ability to analyze financial data and provide clear, actionable insights to management.Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and professional judgment.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a structured and efficient manner.Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
