Accounting Manager

Job SummaryAccounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the assigned region. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, tax compliance, and timely month-end and year-end closing.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the accounting activities for companies within the assigned region.Lead and manage the regional accounting team and ensure effective allocation of resources.Oversee month-end and year-end closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Review financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget versus actual performance.Prepare and support periodic budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with the Controller.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data reported.Maintain proper accounting records and an effective internal control environment.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer collections, and banking activities.Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, payments, and reporting.Review and verify supporting documentation for bank payments.Coordinate statutory accounts, tax returns, and tax compliance for the assigned region.Coordinate with external auditors and support internal and external audits.Work with the Tax Expert on tax audits and queries from relevant tax authorities.Provide guidance, support, and training to accounting and finance team members.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.Perform other accounting and financial responsibilities as required.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
