Accounting Specialist

Franklin Precision Castings (FPC) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to support our accounting and payroll functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position is responsible primarily for accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and biweekly payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, accurate, comfortable working with confidential information, and able to meet deadlines in a busy office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableEnter and process accounts payable invoices accurately and timelyEnter customer invoices and accounts receivable transactions when neededMatch invoices with supporting documentation and purchase ordersMaintain accurate vendor and customer recordsAssist with invoice questions and resolve discrepanciesPrepare information needed for payments and customer follow-upMaintain organized accounting records and documentationPayroll ProcessingAssist with biweekly payroll through PaycorEnter and verify payroll adjustments, deductions, and other payroll-related informationAssist with payroll-related questions Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll informationGeneral Accounting & Office SupportAssist with daily accounting tasks Assist HR with employee documentation and electronic file maintenance as neededAssist with month-end accounting activities when neededCommunicate professionally with vendors, customers, employees, and internal departmentsAnswer phones, greet visitors, process mail, and provide general office support when neededPerform other related accounting duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or payroll experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work with confidential informationStrong computer and data-entry skillsAbility to meet recurring payroll and accounting deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with Paycor, Sage, or Synchro is a plusManufacturing or industrial accounting experience is helpful but not requiredIf you are organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with numbers while supporting both accounting and payroll functions, we encourage you to apply.Send resumes to: careers@franklincastings.com
