Accounting Team Lead

We are looking for an Accounting Team Lead to oversee accounting operations and financial close activities across the group’s subsidiaries. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely statutory reporting, effective team supervision, and strong ownership of zakat and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the accounting team, allocate entities and workloads, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, accounts receivable and payable, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, provisions, reconciliations, and accruals.Manage monthly and year-end close activities and ensure completion within seven business days or less.Review trial balances, key account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, customer and vendor balances, and intercompany accounts.Prepare statutory financial statements and official financial reports for subsidiaries and the group, and support external audit requirements.Own the zakat and tax process within the accounting team, including VAT, withholding tax, and zakat filings, ensuring submissions and supporting documents are complete and submitted on time.Ensure compliance with financial policies, delegation of authority, internal controls, and documentation requirements.Improve the use of the financial system, chart of accounts, and data quality, while contributing to accounting process automation.Coordinate with Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis to provide accurate actuals and approved financial data.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Five to seven years of accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.Proven experience in monthly and annual close, financial statements, reconciliations, and audit support.Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi zakat and tax requirements.Experience with Zoho Books or a similar ERP system.SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is preferred.Experience in a group of companies or multi-entity environment is preferred.Key Skills:Strong accounting review and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.Team leadership, workload management, and ability to work under tight close deadlines.Strong organization and documentation skills.Effective communication with internal stakeholders and external auditors.High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to financial controls.نبحث عن قائد فريق محاسبة لقيادة أعمال المحاسبة والإغلاق المالي للشركات التابعة، وضمان دقة السجلات المالية وإصدار القوائم والتقارير الرسمية في وقتها، مع الإشراف على فريق المحاسبين وملف الزكاة والضرائب.المسؤوليات الرئيسية:قيادة فريق المحاسبين وتوزيع الشركات والمهام ومتابعة جودة التنفيذ والالتزام بالمواعيد.الإشراف على دورة المحاسبة الكاملة، بما يشمل القيود اليومية، الحسابات المدينة والدائنة، الإيرادات، المصروفات، الأصول الثابتة، المخصصات، والتسويات.إدارة الإغلاق الشهري والسنوي وضمان إتمامه خلال 7 أيام عمل أو أقل.مراجعة موازين المراجعة والحسابات الرئيسية والتسويات البنكية وتسويات العملاء والموردين والأطراف ذات العلاقة.إعداد القوائم والتقارير المالية الرسمية للشركات والمجموعة، ودعم أعمال المراجعة الخارجية.إدارة ملف الزكاة والضرائب داخل فريق المحاسبة، بما يشمل ضريبة القيمة المضافة وضريبة الاستقطاع والزكاة، وضمان جاهزية الإقرارات والمستندات المؤيدة ضمن المواعيد النظامية.متابعة الالتزام بالسياسات المالية ومصفوفة الصلاحيات والرقابة الداخلية.تحسين استخدام النظام المالي ودليل الحسابات وجودة البيانات، والمساهمة في أتمتة الإجراءات المحاسبية.التنسيق مع الخزينة وأخصائي التخطيط والتحليل المالي لتوفير الفعليات والتقارير المالية المعتمدة.المؤهلات والخبرة:بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو ما يعادلها.خبرة من 5 إلى 7 سنوات في المحاسبة، منها سنتان على الأقل في دور إشرافي. خبرة عملية في الإغلاق الشهري والسنوي، إعداد القوائم المالية، التسويات، وملفات المراجعة.معرفة جيدة بمعايير IFRS ومتطلبات الزكاة والضرائب في المملكة العربية السعودية. خبرة في Zoho Books أو نظام ERP مالي مشابه.يفضل الحصول على SOCPA أو CPA أو ACCA أو CMA.يفضل وجود خبرة في بيئة مجموعة شركات أو شركات متعددة الكيانات.المهارات المطلوبة:دقة عالية وقدرة قوية على المراجعة والتحليل المحاسبي.قيادة الفريق وإدارة الأولويات والعمل تحت ضغط مواعيد الإغلاق.مهارات تنظيم وتوثيق ممتازة.تواصل مهني فعّال مع الإدارات والمراجعين.نزاهة وسرية والتزام قوي بالضوابط المالية.
