You'll own receivables end to end and actually see your work move the business.This is a role for someone early in their finance career who's sharp, organised, and wants to grow fast — not sit still.What you'll ownReceivables, start to finish: track customer balances, issue Statements of Account, and chase overdue payments until they're closedRecord and allocate incoming payments across cash, cheque, transfer, and card — and keep petty cash tightReconcile customer, supplier, and bank accounts, and hunt down anything that doesn't add upKeep records clean and audit-ready in ERP, and support month-end, VAT, and finance reportingWork shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Operations, and Customer Care to resolve invoice and payment issuesBack up Accounts Payable when needed: verify supplier invoices and help prepare paymentsWhat you bringBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–4 years of hands-on AR (or AR/AP) experience, ideally in the UAESolid double-entry accounting and strong ExcelThe confidence to deal directly with customers on payments — firm but professionalSharp attention to detail and the follow-through to actually close open itemsNice to haveERP experience (Odoo a real plus)Background in food distribution, FMCG, wholesale, or B2B tradingWhy AlbaReal ownership from day one — your work gets noticed, not lost in a big finance departmentSee the full cash cycle and learn how a growing business actually runsA team small enough that good ideas move fastApply with your CV — we read every application. admin@albafoodstuff.comSubject: Application – Accounts & Finance AssistantOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
