For more information, please visit our official website: www.startrader.com.Role Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Account and Payroll Executive to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of financial operations and cash management. You will own day-to-day financial tasks such as petty cash management and payroll support, while also building reports, calculating commissions, and delivering actionable insights through Advanced Excel modelling.Key Responsibilities:Advanced ExcelDesign and maintain complex Excel workbooks using PivotTables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and dynamic array formulasBuild automated dashboards and management reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly review cyclesPetty Cash ManagementManage and reconcile the petty cash fund on a daily/weekly basisRecord all petty cash transactions accurately in the accounting systemPrepare petty cash vouchers, obtain appropriate approvals, and maintain physical/digital receiptsReplenish petty cash as required and submit reconciliation reports to the Finance ManagerPayroll SupportAssist in the end-to-end payroll process - data collection, calculations, and verificationMaintain and update payroll data including attendance, deductions, overtime, and leavesCoordinate with the HR department to ensure payroll inputs are accurate and submitted on timeSupport payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholdersCommission CalculationsCalculate incentive payouts accurately based on approved structures.Maintain commission trackers in Excel, ensuring formulas are audit-ready and transparentLiaise with the teams managers to verify targets, achievements, and payout schedulesPrepare commission statements and submit for approval prior to disbursementFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial and operational reportsSupport month-end and year-end close activities by providing accurate financial dataPresent findings in clear, visual formats (charts, summary tables, executive snapshots)Requirements and Skillsets:EducationBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldProfessional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus but not mandatoryExperienceMinimum 2-4 years of experience in a finance, accounts, or similar roles as financial analyst/accountant roleDemonstrated experience in petty cash handling, payroll processing, and commission calculationsProven track record of building reports and dashboards for managementTechnical Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel — mandatory (PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, macros/VBA is a plus)Accounting, ERP software or Similar (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar)MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is good but not essentialWhy join us ?STARTRADER is built on trust, innovation, and excellence.
