Accounts Assistant

Your New CompanyOur client is a well-established and growing business seeking an Accounts Executive to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive finance professional to gain exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a busy and supportive environment.Your New RoleAs an Accounts Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesProcessing supplier and customer invoices accurately and efficientlyReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesPerforming account reconciliationsManaging credit control activities and following up on outstanding balancesMaintaining accurate financial records and documentationAssisting with payment processing and general finance administrationSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting dutiesWhat You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Executive, Bookkeeper or similar finance positionStrong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesExperience with invoice processing and statement reconciliationsCredit control experience is advantageousStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWhat You'll Get in ReturnIn return, you will receive:A competitive salary package of approx 33-37k annually.
