Accounts Executive / Finance Assistant

Role Description The Accounts Executive / Finance Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting daily finance and account management activities. This role includes maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with preparation and review of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. The individual will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and support invoicing, billing, and collections processes. The role also involves collaborating with the sales team on pricing, contracts, and revenue tracking, as well as preparing periodic reports for management and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Accounts Executive / Finance Assistant will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, precise, and compliant financial operations.Qualifications Strong finance and accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping, budgeting support, and financial analysis.Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and practical experience with tax compliance and filings.Experience with financial statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation of key reports.Account management skills covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking.Familiarity with sales processes, revenue tracking, and coordination with sales teams on billing and contracts.Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.Relevant education in finance, accounting, or business administration; professional certifications are an advantage.Experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role is preferred.
