We’re hiring: Accounts Officer – DubaiBusiness Bay, Dubai | OnsiteAbout Versatile InternationalVersatile International is the Middle East’s first fully integrated Stone Project Management Consultancy, with operations across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.Since 2020, we have established ourselves as a trusted specialist in natural stone project delivery, contributing to some of the Middle East’s most prestigious developments.Our continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Dubai-based finance team.The OpportunityReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.This is a hands-on position covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, compliance support and general finance administration.We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.What you'll be responsible forAccounts ReceivableSet up and maintain accurate client and debtor records.Process invoices, progress claims and sundry billings.Allocate receipts and manage unapplied cash.Monitor receivables and follow up outstanding amounts.Prepare weekly accounts receivable reporting.Work with internal teams and clients to resolve billing queries.Accounts PayableProcess and verify supplier invoices.Manage purchase orders and supporting documentation through three-way matching.Maintain accurate vendor records.Reconcile supplier statements.Liaise with project teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.Support internal controls designed to prevent fraud, duplication and processing errors.Finance & ReportingPerform daily bank reconciliations.Reconcile intercompany transactions.Maintain invoice, payment and compliance registers.Support regulatory and compliance reporting.Assist with finance processes, system improvements and automation initiatives.Support project and operational teams with finance procedures and documentation.Provide general support to the Senior Accountant, Finance Director and Head of Finance as required.About YouYou will be a proactive finance professional who takes pride in accuracy, is highly organised and can confidently manage competing priorities.Ideally, you will have:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.3+ years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role.Experience across both accounts payable and accounts receivable.Strong reconciliation and financial administration skills.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance, project and operational teams.A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Experience within a construction, property, project-based or professional services environment would be advantageous.Why Join Versatile International?This is an opportunity to join a growing specialist business operating across two of the Middle East’s key markets.You will work closely with experienced finance and operational leaders and gain broad exposure across the financial operations of an international project-based business.If you're an experienced Accounts Officer looking for your next opportunity in Dubai and want to be part of a growing business delivering some of the region’s most significant projects, we'd love to hear from you.📩 Apply now or reach out for a confidential conversation.
