Team members join a company that values local roots, integrity, and pride in the products it brings to market.Role Description the Accounts Payable Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Berlin, NJ. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders and receipts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. The role includes reconciling statements, resolving invoice and payment discrepancies, and maintaining organized records in the accounting system. The Accounts Payable Clerk will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address questions, support month-end close activities, and uphold company policies and controls. This role also involves assisting with audit requests, monitoring payment terms, and contributing to continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Finance and basic Accounting to manage payables accurately and in compliance with company policies.Candidates should possess skills in working with Accounting Software and Invoicing to enter, track, and process vendor bills efficiently.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, internal departments, and team members.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP or accounting systems.Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role in a manufacturing or food industry environment is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
