Accounts Payable Clerk

The successful candidate will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, playing a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting wider finance activities. The role would suit someone with existing purchase ledger or transactional finance experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a well-structured and collaborative team environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.Review invoice approvals and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures.Manage invoice workflow processes and proactively follow up outstanding approvals.Respond to supplier and internal finance queries in a professional and timely manner.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Assist with supplier payment runs and associated administration.Support account reconciliations and month-end finance activities.Identify and escalate processing exceptions or unresolved issues where appropriate.Contribute to the maintenance of robust financial controls within the accounts payable function.Build effective working relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the wider business.This is an exciting time to join this business.
