Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team at Trace Hospitality — an emerging F&B company specializing in restaurant management, hospitality operations, and catering services across Abu Dhabi and the UAE. Through our subsidiary, DOTS Café, we are building structured systems, strong financial controls, and operational excellence across our growing portfolio.Role detailsFull-time ; Abu Dhabi On-site; Driver's license requiredAbout the roleThe Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for accurate invoicing, timely collections, and proper reconciliation of receivables — including bank transfers, aggregators, and credit card transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, daily financial monitoring, and close coordination with branches to maintain accuracy and transparency.Key responsibilitiesReconcile daily credit transfers, bank accounts, credit card transactions, and aggregator POS systemsMonitor aggregator commissions and flag discrepancies or cancellation term violationsCoordinate with branches for daily sales reconciliation and prepare cash inflow vs. sales reportsPrepare, review, and dispatch catering invoices; follow up on outstanding paymentsMaintain and dispatch Statements of Account to trade debtors at month-end or post-eventOpen debtor accounts upon receipt of signed contracts; manage advance deposits and payment schedulesAllocate and reconcile payments accurately in QuickBooks ARPrepare AR journals for revenue adjustments, bank charges, and credit card commissionsConduct daily collection follow-ups and escalate overdue accountsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role; F&B or Hospitality preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Foodics, Odoo, or Micros is an advantageStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMust be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
