Equifind are representing an award winning, City of London based, Real Estate firm who are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Accountant within their Finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to join an award winning Property company with an enviable track record in the Real Estate sector globally.They’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Accountant to take the lead on all receivables activity and help strengthen the firm’s financial operations. Experience in chasing the outstanding fees is highly advantageous.The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic individual eager to grow within a highly respected financial services organisation, willing to commit to being 4-days in the office per week and 1-day WFH, remotely.Duties & Responsibilities:The key responsibilities for the Permanent Accounts Receivable Accountant working for this dynamic Property firm based in the City of London will be:Raise and process rental, service charge, insurance, and other property-related invoices in accordance with lease agreements.Monitor tenant accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments.Allocate incoming receipts accurately and promptly to the appropriate tenant accounts.Perform regular reconciliations of tenant ledgers and bank accounts.Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to invoices, payments, and account balances.Monitor aged debt reports and proactively follow up with tenants any outstanding balances and late payments.Issue payment reminders, statements, and demand notices where required.Liaise with tenants, property managers, and external agents to resolve payment issues.Application Criteria:Strong background in accounts receivable or finance operations, ideally gained in the Real Estate sector.Proven ability to take ownership, streamline processes, and deliver continuous improvement.Good understanding of finance and accounting concepts including the coding of expenses to the general ledger and managing reconciliation.Experience of working in a multi-currency finance department would be beneficial.Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working in accounts receivables (AR), preferably in a similar finance assistant role.Compensation:This Permanent Accounts Receivable Analyst role based in the City of London will be paid a competitive market based salary of between £30,000 - £40,000 PA.25-days annual leave.Employer pension contribution.Private health-care (including dental and optical).Hybrid work pattern (4-days in the office, 1-day work-from-home/remotely.
