Operating across Ireland and the UK, the company has built a strong reputation within its specialist sector and continues to experience significant growth across multiple business entities.Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking to appoint an Accounts Receivable & Finance Assistant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will focus primarily on accounts receivable and credit control while also providing support across the wider finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Accounts Receivable professional looking to join a successful business with strong long-term growth plans.The RoleManage customer invoicing, statements and account administration.Monitor aged debtors and proactively follow up outstanding balances.Post and allocate customer payments while investigating account discrepancies.Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate supporting records.Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries.Prepare debtor reporting and expected receipts information.Complete bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.Assist with journals, month-end activities and wider finance administration.Support ongoing finance process improvements and ad hoc projects.The CandidateMinimum 3 years' experience within accounts receivable, credit control or a broader accounts position.Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.Confident user of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to customer interactions.Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit finance team.Sage 50 experience and construction sector exposure would be advantageous.The RewardsSalary of €35,000 – €45,000.Pension from day one.22 days annual leave.Parking provided.Flexible working arrangements once established in the role.Opportunity to join a growing finance team within a successful and expanding business.Supportive culture with approachable leadership and excellent long-term career prospects.
