Accounts Receivable Specialist – FMCG – Blanchardstown, DublinHireForce is working with a successful and growing FMCG business based in Blanchardstown, Dublin, to appoint an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit Control professional to join a successful business and take ownership of the customer ledger within a busy finance environment. Working closely with customers, sales and the wider finance team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing outstanding balances and ensuring cash is collected efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functionRaise and process customer invoices and credit notesAllocate customer receipts and maintain accurate customer accountsReconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepanciesMonitor aged debtors and follow up on outstanding balancesManage customer queries relating to invoices, payments and account balancesLiaise with internal sales and commercial teams to resolve account issuesPrepare regular aged debtor and cash collection reportsAssist with month-end close and AR reconciliationsProcess journals and adjustments as requiredSupport VAT and other finance-related reportingMaintain accurate customer records and credit informationIdentify opportunities to improve credit control and AR processesAssist the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects when requiredAbout YouPrevious experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control roleExperience managing customer accounts and reconciliationsConfident dealing with customers and internal stakeholdersStrong attention to detailGood Excel skillsProactive approach with the ability to work independentlyWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and hybrid working policyPermanent position within a successful FMCG businessSupportive and collaborative finance teamStrong career progression opportunitiesIf the role isn’t for you, If you are happy with the level of service you’ve experienced with HireForce, we would really appreciate if you can refer a friend and you will receive a €250 voucher should we successfully place your friend.
