Our client is looking for someone with accounts receivable, billing, collections, or general accounting experience who enjoys working with customers and taking an active role in the collection process.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and distribute customer invoice statements and account informationContact dealers and distributors regarding outstanding invoices and payment statusFollow up on past-due accounts and document collection activityRespond to customer questions regarding invoices, balances, payments, and account activityResearch and resolve discrepancies or issues that may delay paymentApply and maintain accurate customer payment and account recordsMonitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection effortsCommunicate regularly with internal departments regarding customer accounts and payment issuesMaintain accurate documentation and support general accounting functions as neededQualifications2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating professionally with customersAbility to follow up consistently and professionally on outstanding balancesStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systemsAbility to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of an accounting teamWhat You'll BringThe ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers through both phone and electronic communication.If you're an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and is looking for a long-term opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
