Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote)

SUMMARYWe are looking for a mission-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. An Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the essential customer-facing functions of our accounting cycle.PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVESPrepare and send customer invoices, G-702/G-703 forms, SOVs, pre-qualification forms, and other required documentation accurately and on time.Monitor accounts receivable, collect outstanding balances, post payments, and reduce overdue receivables.Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable, revenue, and customer prepayments between QuickBooks, internal ERP systems, and the general ledger; review AR aging.Prepare accurate weekly AR projections and regular financial reports to support financial planning.Ensure compliance with applicable legal and customer requirements, including monitoring state lien legislation, preparing lien waivers, and verifying tax exemption certificates.Maintain accurate project documentation, including updating Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and supporting customer pre-qualification requirements.Respond to customer account inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Monitor Allowance for Bad Debt accounts and recommend appropriate write-offs.Support annual audits, including preparing A/R confirmation letters and providing required documentation.Identify and recommend improvements to AR systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external customers while working independently to achieve departmental goals.KEY COMPETENCIESBachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting courses.Understanding of accrual accounting (preferred).Proficiency MS Office (including intermediate Excel skills).At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (preferred).High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Experience in construction accounting (preferred).Eagerness to learn, adapt, and seek improvement opportunities.WHAT WE OFFERRemote work opportunity.Working hours from 8 am to 5 pm EST.Competitive salary within the range of $800 - $1100 per month.Participating in our "One Window - One Tree" initiative.The opportunity to improve your skills through professional development training.Working on exceptional large building projects.Fast growing company.A united and friendly team.
